Hi all! I just finished doing a video on a standing calendar, I invented this for Christmas presents, I know, I know it's too early for Christmas but never for me :) especially when you need time to make homemade gifts.
To make the calendar I started by designing a 2" x 3" calendar in Microsoft Publisher (or you can download the calendar in the supply list), then I cut out the sheets with a x-acto knife, Stack the papers on top of each other and cut a piece of 2" x 3" piece of cardstock, line up all pieces of paper and using binder clips Clip the 2 sides together run a dab of glue (I used alenes tacky glue) down the top edge, clean up the edges, bind the top with 2 more binder clips and let it dry you will end up with a calendar that when you peel off one of the sheets they will still hold together you can also do this with larger sheets and make a notepad. Although I did not make the calendar in the video I will post some pictures at the end so you can get an Idea of what I am talking about... I also want to say that the idea of gluing the paper was NOT my idea I found it on another persons blog and for the life of me can not remember who, I will try to find out and give them full credit.Well I hope you like the video be looking for more videos of Christmas gifts coming soon! Have a great day and Happy Crafting!
