I love getting orders!

Hey everyone! I had mentioned on my blog sometime before that I had been looking in to buying copic markers, but my cheapness always kicked in and I just could not justify spending the money to get them... I started doing some research and I found out about Letraset Pro Markers... at over half the cost of copic markers, and very good reviews I decided to give them a try... I found the cheapest price was on Amazon so I placed my order and they arrived today. I am loving them! Now I am still a newbie so I don't have the blending down and I also don't have the correct cardstock. I found Neenah seems to be the best brand for pro markers and I found a 25 pack for only $3.80 I was thinking what a steal!... added it to my cart and went to check out only to find out shipping was almost $13 so now I am the one being stolen from lol :) If anybody knows of a good cheap website with cheap shipping... I would so appreciate it if you could let me know :)
Ok so here is the first image I colored using my new markers. I had a lot of fun coloring this, the pack that I bought was the skin tone pack so I was pretty limited on my colors but I will definitely be adding more to my collection over time... The image is a digi I downloaded from Milk Coffee Stamps, I can't find the exact link to the image since it has been a while since I downloaded it :) I think it turned out pretty good for a first try and I am loving how the markers work... I took the image and turned it in to a simple card using my absolute favorite pattern paper from Walmart by Color Bok called Rosewood! I am definitely stocking up on this paper pad!!! Finished it off with some Recollection and Prima Flowers, Ribbon, Pearls and I was done... Ok so I think I have rambled enough... I am definitely going to be adding to my collection and I will share more cards soon. Until then Have a great day and Happy Crafting!

Some Recent Cards :)

HI all I thought I would share some recent cards I made...

First one up is this one I made using the Martha Stewart 3 in 1 Classic Butterfly Punch. I punched out a ton of the butterflies and kept only the small ones, the rainbow bling in the corners is from a set of gems I got off of Targets $1 aisle sometime ago. I love how simple the card looks but it still packs the punch of color....

This second one is using the cutest stamp set from cleardollarstamps.com... This is an awesome site that is currently having an awesome sale (I am getting ready to make another order :) gotta love those deals) so make sure you check them out! I used the Playful Pixies Stamp Set and it is such a cute set... I think this would be awesome to give to one of my cousins :)

The last card I have here is a Birthday card for my uncle... I used the Animal Crackers Monkey by Imaginisce... I got this stamp from another great website you should check out Bargainpack.com, I colored the monkey in using my Sharpie markers and added the rainbow gems in place of the image of circles he is juggling.. The pattern paper is from The Paper Studio "Birthday Extravaganza"

I hope you enjoy, I had a lot of fun making them :) As always have a great day and Happy Crafting!

Cutting the grass is like a treasure hunt...

You just never know what you are going to find. As we were cutting the grass today, we pushed over a spot and fur went everywhere... first response, what did I just hit! second, Tears! The only person I knew to look was, my dad :) (isn't that what dad's are for?) So after more tears my dad looked down to see exactly what had I had killed, he spotted life... Three lives to be exact... three baby rabbits! At about only the size of my hand they are so cute! So of course tears turned to ohh's and ahh's and we are currently waiting for the momma rabbit to come back for them... but hey as we wait why not a few pics?

Aren't they so cute!!! We have initially named them winkin, blinkin, and nodd... any Andy Griffith fans out there? :) Ok well here is hoping there mom will be back soon, Have a great day and make sure to watch when you go to cut your grass :)
