Decluttering!

Hey everyone, I just wanted to share with you. I am in the process of decluttering my craft area right now. I am being over taken by all of the craft supplies, so I am going to sell some of the items on my Etsy shop. Most all of the items I list are Brand new and have never been used, only a few of the items have been used. I am terrible about buying items when I see them and then when I get home think, why did I buy that? lol :)

Happy Halloween!

Hello again! Ok so I know it is a little early for Halloween cards, well then again I guess not? Fall is my favorite season next to winter and I can not wait for the cooler temperatures! That got me in to the mood to make a Halloween card, so here is what I came up with...

I used some new stamps I got from Michael's dollar aisle. The all favorite Martha Stewart, drippy goo punch and the Making Memories, Toil & Trouble paper pad. Hope you enjoy, Have a great day and Happy Crafting!

Wow it has been sooo long....

Hi everyone, Hope you have all been doing good... I know it has been forever since I have posted on my blog and to tell you the truth, I just hadn't felt like doing anything... This week I went to my Great Grandmother's funeral, she was 92. Also as you may know if you read my last post, my dog and best friend passed away and it was really hard for me, my parents took me and surprised me with a new puppy. She has been a real comfort and such a fun ball of energy!

Here is a picture of her a couple of nights ago on one of her calmer moods, I got her at the age of 2 months and she is 5 months now. She has grown so fast! I named her Scraps, 1. because she just looks like a scraps and 2. because I love scrapbooking! I have made a mini album with pictures of the first few weeks, I had her and I hope to do a video showing that soon. I am also in the process of decluttering my craft area. I do hope to get back to crafting soon and doing more videos. I just wanted to do a quick update and say hi. I will be posting more soon. Have a great day and Happy Crafting!

New Cards :)

Hey everyone, I know it has been a long time since I have done anything on my blog, but life has just been hitting hard lately... I won't go into all the details but the top two are my dog passed away almost a month ago and that has been really hard to deal with she was my baby and I miss her so much...

                                                                    Zoe 2001-2012
and the second is my grandmother has been in the hospital, thank the Lord she is out now though, but I haven't really been doing much crafting as of lately. But today I wanted to share with you some cards that I have been making over the weekend. I really just wanted to start crafting again so here they are...

The adorable stamp is a digi stamp, I got from PollyCraft a great website that has since closed down, but she was a freebie and I just loved the way she looked. I colored them in with my Spectrum Noir Markers. I wanted to keep the card it self very clean so I just did some random stitching on my sewing machine with matching thread. I then finished it off with a sentiment stamped again in matching ink.... I am really happy with the way these cards turned out. I am going to call these the seasonal fairy's as the blue is Winter, green is Spring, pink is Summer, and orange is Fall... As always have a great day and Happy crafting!

New Card :)

Hey everyone, I just wanted to share a card with you that I just finished...
The image is a digi from The Greeting Farm called "Cupcake Anya" I colored her in using my Promarkers and my new Spectrum Noir markers... I really love the way the coloring came out. I am still trying to get use to the coloring though... I still have a hard time with the bleeding of the ink, but other than that I think she turned out cute :) I got the black open scallop from my favorite Cricut cart, Elegant Edges... the paper is a mixture of Bazzil, Coredinations, and Recollection I wanted the main image to be the focus so I kept the front clean with just a small knot of ribbon a butterfly and a few pearls.... Hope you enjoyed and as always Happy Crafting!

Baby bunny update :)

I got a comment and it reminded me... I totally forgot to mention that the mommy bunny did come back for her babies and for a few nights we did see the babies and mommy hanging out in our front yard :) They were sooo cute!!! The pictures really did not do them justic, they were only about 4" long :) So kawaii!!!!

I love getting orders!

Hey everyone! I had mentioned on my blog sometime before that I had been looking in to buying copic markers, but my cheapness always kicked in and I just could not justify spending the money to get them... I started doing some research and I found out about Letraset Pro Markers... at over half the cost of copic markers, and very good reviews I decided to give them a try... I found the cheapest price was on Amazon so I placed my order and they arrived today. I am loving them! Now I am still a newbie so I don't have the blending down and I also don't have the correct cardstock. I found Neenah seems to be the best brand for pro markers and I found a 25 pack for only $3.80 I was thinking what a steal!... added it to my cart and went to check out only to find out shipping was almost $13 so now I am the one being stolen from lol :) If anybody knows of a good cheap website with cheap shipping... I would so appreciate it if you could let me know :)
Ok so here is the first image I colored using my new markers. I had a lot of fun coloring this, the pack that I bought was the skin tone pack so I was pretty limited on my colors but I will definitely be adding more to my collection over time... The image is a digi I downloaded from Milk Coffee Stamps, I can't find the exact link to the image since it has been a while since I downloaded it :) I think it turned out pretty good for a first try and I am loving how the markers work... I took the image and turned it in to a simple card using my absolute favorite pattern paper from Walmart by Color Bok called Rosewood! I am definitely stocking up on this paper pad!!! Finished it off with some Recollection and Prima Flowers, Ribbon, Pearls and I was done... Ok so I think I have rambled enough... I am definitely going to be adding to my collection and I will share more cards soon. Until then Have a great day and Happy Crafting!

Some Recent Cards :)

HI all I thought I would share some recent cards I made...

First one up is this one I made using the Martha Stewart 3 in 1 Classic Butterfly Punch. I punched out a ton of the butterflies and kept only the small ones, the rainbow bling in the corners is from a set of gems I got off of Targets $1 aisle sometime ago. I love how simple the card looks but it still packs the punch of color....

This second one is using the cutest stamp set from cleardollarstamps.com... This is an awesome site that is currently having an awesome sale (I am getting ready to make another order :) gotta love those deals) so make sure you check them out! I used the Playful Pixies Stamp Set and it is such a cute set... I think this would be awesome to give to one of my cousins :)

The last card I have here is a Birthday card for my uncle... I used the Animal Crackers Monkey by Imaginisce... I got this stamp from another great website you should check out Bargainpack.com, I colored the monkey in using my Sharpie markers and added the rainbow gems in place of the image of circles he is juggling.. The pattern paper is from The Paper Studio "Birthday Extravaganza"

I hope you enjoy, I had a lot of fun making them :) As always have a great day and Happy Crafting!

Cutting the grass is like a treasure hunt...

You just never know what you are going to find. As we were cutting the grass today, we pushed over a spot and fur went everywhere... first response, what did I just hit! second, Tears! The only person I knew to look was, my dad :) (isn't that what dad's are for?) So after more tears my dad looked down to see exactly what had I had killed, he spotted life... Three lives to be exact... three baby rabbits! At about only the size of my hand they are so cute! So of course tears turned to ohh's and ahh's and we are currently waiting for the momma rabbit to come back for them... but hey as we wait why not a few pics?

Aren't they so cute!!! We have initially named them winkin, blinkin, and nodd... any Andy Griffith fans out there? :) Ok well here is hoping there mom will be back soon, Have a great day and make sure to watch when you go to cut your grass :)

New Card :)

I hope everyone is having an awesome week :) I just wanted to post a picture of the card I made for my cousin, it is going to be her 10th birthday in about two weeks, so I came up with this card using my new cricut lite cartridge Twinkle Toes (my new fav!!!)

The only thing I didn't particular care for was how plain the eyes are with the cut... so I took my white get pen and added a little shine with two dot to her eyes. I really like how it added a lot of depth and really made the cut... I kept the card very simple because I know my cousin and this card will be looked at for a total of maybe a minute before she is on to something else :) Have a great day and Happy Crafting!

My first Digi :)

Hello, hope you all had an amazing Friday! Last week I started playing with the idea of making my own digital stamps... I started drawing and fiddling around and I came up with this... (to download please right click and save the file)

Now I am by no means the drawer in my family! That would be my very talented sister (my monkey mascot was drawn by her) :) I have been after her for some time to please draw me something else, but she has been totally busy lately so I thought I would try my hand at it :) I think she came out very cute and simple. I made a card using my digi and here is the video of that...

This digi is totally free for you to download and use on whatever you would like :) The only thing I ask is that if you do use it in a project please mention where you got it and direct them back to my blog to download for them self. Thank you! If you like this and would like to see more digital stamps by me please feel free to leave a comment and let me know and I will try to come up with more :) Now have a great weekend!

Paper Playtime Challenge

Hi everyone, I made a card for the Paper Playtime Challenge... The challenge was to make a masculine card with a sentiment. I have a really hard time making masculine cards, there is just something about adding ribbon, flowers and glitter to a card :) But here is what I came up with...

I tried to keep it very CAS (Clean and Simple) I thought I would kill two birds with one stone so this is my entry and it is also my dads, Father's Day card... never hurt being too soon on making cards right? I used my Cricut lite Handy Man cartridge to get the hammer and nails, which I cut out of the same color I used for the base of my card and then I silvered embossed them. The sentiments I just printed out on my computer, I really like the way it turned out and I am pretty sure my dad will too. Have a great day!

Episode 62 - Haul Time

Hey everyone, I finally got some time to film a video Monday night. I just finished editing and uploading it. I also filmed a Michaels Haul as well and I am currently in the process of working on the editing so I will have it up soon. :) Ok on to the video...

The other thing is almost every Sunday I cook dinner :) Have I ever mentioned I love to cook? Well tonight was one of my favorites... Honey Lime Chicken Sandwich's and Pasta Salad :) Super easy and delicious... I couldn't help myself, so I snapped a picture to show you :)

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Top o' the morning to ya! (or should I say night?) I just got back from my sister and brother in-laws and I wanted to share a card I made for a challenge over at Gina's blog. The theme was to be St. Patty's day and have a lot of layers so this is what I came up with. :)

I really like the way this card turned out. I am terrible at making monochromatic cards, but I really feel like this one came out nice. Well I am off to relax, Have a great St. Patrick's Day and as always Happy Crafting!

I used the Cricut Lite Handy Man cartridge to get the "Our First House" cut I also added some flowers and felt birds from Michael's $1 aisle. I really love the way it turned out! I was very pleased with it because to tell you the truth I thought I had lost it for making cards. Do you every get that way? Ok well I just wanted to do an update, I am still around and I am going to be posting some other cards, I did this week as well. As always have a great day and Happy Crafting!
